Treasurer

Jackie is a new member to the club and this style of kayak. She joined the intro group with her kids after her daughters loved the summer camp. After being involved in many different water sports throughout her life, this club is a great fit and she wanted to be part of the team to help support youth in the San Diego area.

Founder / President

Chris is a retired Fire Captain/Paramedic after serving the citizens of the City of San Diego for 26 years. He paddled kayak for Team USA at the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona and coaches on a volunteer basis.

Vice President

Coach Joseph serves the City of San Diego and has done so for 23 years. He paddled canoe for Team USA at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta and coaches on a daily basis. Most recently Joe was the 2024 USA Canoe Team Olympic Coach.

Secretary

A graduate of Point Loma Nazarene University, Nate loves kayaking because of the lifelong friendships he’s made through the sport.

Board Member

Dave is a retired Federal and National City Firefighter. He has a wealth of knowledge on logistics, equipment management and boat repair. His volunteer activities have included working with the Americas Cup and Challenged Athlete Foundation.
